First “Fake Drake” and now this? In a groundbreaking development, Google is working with Universal Music Group to usher in a new era of AI-generated music by officially licensing the use of artists' melodies and vocals.

The result? A potentially monumental shift in the landscape of music creation.

LL Cool J, the Hip-Hop legend, shared his insights on the use of artificial intelligence in the music industry during a fireside chat titled "The Business of Building Hip Hop: The Next 50 Years" at Nasdaq Marketsite.

He views AI as a tool, emphasizing that it only becomes a problem when people are afraid of it. He likened AI to other technological advancements, stating that it can be used positively or negatively, like a "nuclear bomb" or a "nuclear reactor that creates energy." The key, according to LL Cool J, lies in how we embrace and utilize AI to our benefit.
